Located in Simi Valley, Bottle Village is lauded by folk art scholars, The State of California, and The National Register of Historic Places. The name is derived literally from the tens of thousands of bottles molded in 1/3 of an acre of mortar structures, hand carved by Tressa Grandma Prisbrey, initiating in 1956 at the young age of 60.
