Named in honor of the collector and donor of the original collection, the Donald G. Larson Collection on International Expositions and Fairs, 1851-1940 is the largest and most comprehensive collection on world's fairs on the West Coast. It contains various types of materials from official guides to photograph albums, pamphlets to seconary sources and everything in between. The collection is strongest on expositions held in North America, the U.K. and Western Europe but it covers all major world's fairs held between 1851 and 1940. The collection is only partially cataloged.
