The Suzuki family members, brother Yoneo and sisters Hana and Yoshiko, lived in Sacramento since the early 1970s. The family grew up in San Francisco and moved to Sacramento to pursue professional careers. All three siblings lived together in the family home. Hana, the oldest sibling, was the home keeper and crafted Japanese dolls. Yoneo studied pharmacy, while Yoshiko studied bioscience. All three were sent to the Tule Lake internment camp during WWII. Collection consists of dolls, kimonos, buddhist alter set, photographs, and miscellaneous items.
