- The California Constitution Revision Commission was established with the passage of Proposition 1 in 1962, which approved an amendment to article 18 in the constitution, permitting the legislature to propose revisions to the constitution. The commission was appointed to make suggestions for revisions to the constitution. Donald H. Pflueger, professor at California State Polytechnic College, served as a citizens member on the commission. The commission was terminated on March 4, 1974. The collection consists of the 1963 California Constitution Revision Commission files collected by Donald H. Pflueger while he served as a member of the commission including agendas, minutes, memorandums, correspondence and background material.
