Description:
The Fresno County Farm Bureau began in 1917. Its agents conducted demonstrations for farmers throughout the San Joaquin Valley on such topics as soil fertility, commodity marketing, formation of irrigation districts, etc. The Bureau was also involved with student agricultural clubs, and its Home Department addressed issued related to homemaking. The reports are arranged chronologically, and include membership, the demonstration projects for the year, and other information. Photographs and maps are included. Each report contains a narrative, plus a statistical section.
